What we do
Through innovative diagnostics and patient care as well as cutting edge research and education we strive to contribute to the prevention and cure of infectious diseases in our hospital, in our region and in the Netherlands. As infections have no borders, we bundle our efforts to combat infectious diseases worldwide.
Research
Fundamental and translational research are the main drivers for innovations in strategies for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infections. At LUCID we continuously develop and apply new knowledge and cutting-edge technologies through collaborative research of scientists and clinicians to strive to excellence in contributing to the prevention and cure of infectious diseases in our hospital, in our region and the world.
